Assistant Office Manager/Bookkeeper
JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Assistant Office Manager/ Bookkeeper to join our team.
The ideal candidate will support the bookkeeping and accounting functions, ensuring financial records are
accurate and up-to-date. Knowledge of Cougar Mountain Accounting System helpful but willing to train.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and has a passion for numbers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, including accounts
payable and receivable.
2. Assisting in reconciling bank statements and financial transactions.
3. Prepare invoices, process payments, and manage expense reports.
4. Support the preparation of financial reports and summaries.
5. Organize and maintain financial documents and filing systems.
6. Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure compliance with
company policies and regulations.
7. Entering Production report.
8. Supply errands.
9. Request a booking for freight forwarding and creating shipping
documents prior to shipping.
10. Answer telephone and email inquiries.
11. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related field preferred.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications (e.g., Certified
Bookkeeper) are a plus.
Experience working in a fast-paced office environment preferred.
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines effectively.
