Idiaread at the Kodiak Public Library
Iditaread has started! The Kodiak Public Library?s annual reading challenge to highlight the Iditarod Sled Dog Race runs the month of March. Mush north, read 1,000 minutes or more, keep track of your reading, write a book review, and win prizes. For all ages, sign up Kodiak.beanstack.org
Kodiak Public Library Escape Room
The Library?s Escape Room is back and runs through April 14th. Daily time slots are available EXCEPT THURSDAYS. Open to all ages, but children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Groups of three are recommended. Call the Library at 486-8686 to reserve your spot.
Spanish Conversation Group
Come practice your Spanish language skills! Saturdays from 11am-noon in the library's craft room. Drop in, no registration required.
Sewards Day
A legal Alaskan holiday celebrating the signing of the Alaska Purchase Treaty. Kodiak Chamber of Commerce office is closed.
Kodiak Public Library Bridge Club
Mondays at 1 pm is the library's Bridge Club Meeting. This club welcomes seasoned payers of Contract Bridge.
KWRCC Board & Membership Meeting

KIBSD Alaska Administrators Arts Retreat
The Administrator Arts Retreat is designed for Principals and District Office Leaders, and is hosted by the Kodiak Island Borough School District, in partnership with the Alaska Arts Education Consortium with support from the Munartet Project, The Alaska Comprehensive Literacy Development . Priority will be given to administrators of schools on the DEED Comprehensive Support and Improvement list.
