About Us

What is a foot care nurse?
A foot care nurse is a registered nurse (RN) educated & trained by podiatrist and additional courses in assessing, treating, and educating patients about foot and lower limb health. I am trained to provide non-invasive foot care and often work with patients who have chronic conditions like diabetes, poor circulation, flexibility or mobility issues—where proper foot care is essential to avoid serious complications.

What They Do:
• Trim toenails safely (especially for people who can’t do it themselves)
• Treat corns, calluses, ingrown nails (non-surgical)
• Check for signs of infection, ulcers, or poor circulation
• Provide education on foot hygiene and footwear
• Refer patients to podiatrists or physicians when needed
