DESCRIPTION:The festival began in 1958 and is a time for the community to celebrate the abundant resources that we receive from the sea. Kodiak Crab Festival 2022 has been scheduled for May 26 - May 30\, 2022. There will be various events surrounding the festival. The Kodiak Crab Festival Grand Parade takes place on Saturday\, May 28th beginning at 9 am and runs along Mill Bay Road between Powell and Bartel Street. More information will be posted on the Kodiak Crab Festival website as we get closer to the event.\n\n\n\nCrab Festival is a time for the community to celebrate its abundant resources from the sea and the summer season.  It is the intent of the management to coordinate a variety of family oriented activities that will provide men\, women and children a festive and fun recreational outlet. For the Kodiak business person and local nonprofit\, the Crab Festival is intended to be a prosperous time to enhance their business/organization and raise needed revenues.
