SUMMARY:5th Annual Afognak Youth Charity Golf Tournament
DESCRIPTION:On behalf of our Tribal Youth\, we would like to invite you to the Afognak Youth Charity Golf Tournament. Without the funds our generous sponsors have contributed\, the Native Villages of Port Lions and Afognak would not be able to provide the stellar Alutiiq cultural activities and programs for our Tribal youth. While we had to cancel last year's event due to the COVID-19 pandemic\, we are starting anew in 2021.\n\n                                                                                                           \n\nWe are excited to announce that we will host our 5th Annual Tournament at the Anchorage Golf Course on Friday\, July 23\, 2021. We look forward to welcoming celebrity golfer\, Mr. Hale Irwin\, who is one of the few players in history to win three U.S. Opens\, becoming the oldest ever U.S. Open champion in 1990 at the age of 45. As a senior golfer\, Irwin ranks first all-time in PGA Tour Champions victories. He is widely regarded as the greatest player in Champions Tour history. \n\n \n\nSponsorship not only provides a tax deductible donation but also the high exposure at the tournament to participants from Alaska Native Corporations\, North Slope oil and gas companies\, their vendors\, suppliers\, contractors and customers\, as well as some of the largest banks and corporations in Alaska.
